Pat Summers, proprietor of Inn Wine Country, a boutique vacation rental management company, owns Summers House and currently manages Haywood Vineyards Manor House. She has owned and managed vacation rentals since the spring of 2008, assisting owners of numerous estates in Napa and Sonoma with vacation rental start up, renovation, décor, sales, marketing, rentals and guest services. Pat provides hands on management and wishes to keep her business intimate and exclusive. She welcomes inquiries from serious property owners interested in maximizing their success with short term rentals.

Pat owned and operated Summers-McCann Public Relations for 25 years, representing companies such as The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Ventana Inn and Spa in Big Sur. She and her staff created and produced extraordinary food, wine and art events including Sonoma Salute to the Arts and the Napa Valley Mustard Festival. Pat secured sponsors including Visa USA and American Express, both of which hired her company to create and manage their wine country promotions. Retiring from Summers-McCann in 2010, she has since devoted her time to Inn Wine Country Vacation Rentals. The transition from promotion, advertising, and event coordination, to creating, promoting and managing private, unique hospitality endeavors, was seamless.

Pat maintains a live/work space at her Summers House property, providing excellent service, referrals, and casual concierge services. Guest reviews frequently comment on their excellent experience.

“We stayed at Pat's Sonoma house for a long weekend in November with some friends to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday. It was absolutely perfect, gorgeous views proximity to the best wineries and downtown Sonoma, and impeccable design throughout every space. I would love to come back again. “Pat was an amazing host! I have rented about 25 homes on VRBO and a few on Air BNB over the last 13 years, and this a top favorite for sure. The location was in the heart of Sonoma and super quick to the wineries in Napa as well. What a beautiful gem this was. The house was perched up on a beautiful hill with sweeping views. It was cozy and had lots of details including artwork and many books, which we loved. The pool was clean and refreshing. The beds were comfortable, lots of room to sprawl out. And Pat was very helpful months beforehand with recommendations. I cannot recommend this place enough and hope to come back soon!”

"This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. The property, house, and pool was absolutely gorgeous-- the pictures did not even come close to doing this property justice. In addition to beautiful architecture, comfortable beds, FULLY stocked kitchen (tablecloths, cloth napkins, serving platters, salad spinners, etc.), Pat set up a vineyard tour with the property's foreman. We greatly appreciated learning about the history of the property and more about wine making in the region. Pat was easy to communicate with, fast to respond and incredibly kind. "Our stay was outstanding. This place is practically walking distance to the square in Sonoma, yet you feel like you’re the only one in a valley of rolling hills filled with vineyards. The house itself is off the hook. It must have taken years to build since the stone work looks like it was done by hand, and by a master artist. This is one of the few “high end” experiences we’ve had that is truly high end. The cost was completely justified. Try it once and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed! The service was also spectacular. Pat, our host, actually helped me organize a family event we were having for the tragic death of a family member. She knows the area very well and cut through all the overpriced options and hooked us up with the Swiss Hotel. I cannot recommend this place and it’s host strongly enough. If there were more than 5 stars, I would have given them!”

"The house and property were absolutely beautiful, exactly what we expected and hoped for after viewing the listing. The home not only had loads of character and charm, it was stocked with all of the necessities and amenities to have a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our family of adults cooked a little, enjoyed the spa and relaxed while admiring the views. It was perfect for our family birthday celebration. The location was great - a short trip into town and close to the vineyards and restaurants we visited. I highly recommend treating yourself to stay at the estate. We hope to return sometime soon.”

"We stayed here for a long weekend for my Mom's 80th birthday and honestly if I could give it more than five stars I would. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and the house is just amazing and clearly has been a labor of love. If anything it looks better than the pictures and it is really quite a magical and special experience. The location is also exceptional, as you feel as if you are in the remote countryside with lovely vineyards but you are just 10 minutes away from Sonoma. The hosts and the property manager are all very nice and easy to interact with. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return soon!”
